2017 Winter Coat Guide

This past week the temperature dropped below 35℉, and I officially shifted from Fall to Winter mode. On these cool Indiana days, the first thing I do is reach into my coat closet. So, it's important that it's full of tons of options from camel coloredto puffer and even a bright coat (or two).

I've always appreciated the importance of a good coat, after all they'll be the final layer of each and every outfit that I'll wear this winter. That's why I spend hours checking out a coat before i'll ever even consider purchasing it. It's also super important to note that I typically spend more on a coat than I will on other parts of my outfit, because it has to keep me warm above all else. And, i've found the coats that do that best are often a bit more expensive.

Most of the jackets that you'll find in my closet are neutrals that can be dressed up or down. Sure, I have a few prints and bright colors here and there, but a good neutral coat can literally go with anything in your wardrobe. And, they're especially good for travel. Plus, you can easily make a neutral coat look different if you change up the outfit underneath - or, try adding a different scarf and cuffing your sleeves over your jacket.

I've combed through a ton of websites to come up with the ultimate Winter Coat Guide to share with you all today. It's filled with coats listed at all price points, as well as many coats that are currently in my closet. Take a look and let me know which is your favorite in the comments below!
