I don't know about you - but, our calendar is starting to become more and more full. This time of year there is holiday party after holiday party and I find myself searching high and low for a dress last minute. This year, I'm trying to get ahead of the rush by ordering a few pieces I love at the start of the season.

I stumbled upon this dress when I was searching for something to wear to a Yuletide celebration in downtown Indianapolis. There will be music, cocktails and more and this dress is the perfect balance of dressy and comfortable. Seriously, as soon as I saw it I was so excited to order it and try it on. It comes in the blue you see here, as well as a deep red color that would be stunning for the holidays. I chose the blue because of my skin tone, but the red was beyond gorgeous too.
