Eyelet & Leather

This weekend it truly felt like summer. J and I played tourist around our new little city, strolled along the streets and just enjoyed seeing each other again after a crazy busy couple of months. It was hot, gorgeous and reminded me just how happy I am that we decided to move back to the midwest. It's truly gorgeous here this time of year!

While adventuring, I wore this fun look - and got so many compliments! My affinity for feminine, frilly pieces is no secret as i'm sure you know by now. So, it comes as no surprise that when I found this dainty, eyelet top in my local Madewell store I bought it immediately. It has the most gorgeous fluttery sleeves too, which are so fun to see hanging in my closet! While the eyelet top may come as no surprise, the real star of this look is the leather, embroidered purse. Isn't it just adorable? I love the fun statement it brings to any look I put together. I think it's safe to say i'll be wearing it everywhere this summer!

We've finally finished all of the main decorations in our apartment and it's starting to really feel like home around here! We've been loving trying out all the new restaurants, running and just settling in. And, i'm so looking forward to enjoying this gorgeous space all summer long!
