DIY Ghostly Bride Spooky Halloween Costume
What i’m wearing: Skirt; Alexandra Grecco // Shoes; Christian Louboutin // Body Suit; Party City// Headband; Party City //
I take Halloween very seriously.
I'll admit, I normally shy away from spooky costumes an opt to be a princess, ballerina or something that involves a tutu. But, I didn't feel like spending a ton of money on a costume this year, so I grabbed my favorite Alexandra Grecco tulle Skirt, black bodysuit and Louboutin pumps and put this chic, spooky ghostly bride costume together.
If you've been following the blog for a while, you know J and I got married earlier this year. And, I wasn't quite ready to be done being a bride quite yet, so I figured i'd carry it over to my Halloween costume. But, this costume shows just how easy it can be to make a costume out of things you already have in your closet. My secret? Start with what you have and add accessories to spice it up. I purchased these ghoulish looking roses and draped them in some gauze because it added a little something more to the outfit. Plus, I found this KILLER headpiece and knew I had to add it in. The tulle veil matched my skirt perfectly!
J and I will be headed to a party on Halloween, so he'll be a ghoulish groom to match my chic costume. He plans on wearing a black mask with his tux to make it dressy, but still a tad scary. I'll be sure to post photos, so make sure you follow along on Instagram!
P.S. What are you going to be this halloween?
XO,
Kenzie
