This Rosemary Cayenne Vodka Lemonade is the Perfect End of Summer Treat

As much as I hate to admit it, the end of Summer is near. But, we still have Labor Day to take advantage of the fun, sun and booze of the Summer Season. As such, I figured I had it in me to share one last Summer treat with you all. Enter the easy to make - and easy to drink - Rosemary Cayenne Vodka Lemonade.

Low in alcohol, refreshing and perfect for day-drinking at a Labor Day weekend soiree this Rosemary Cayenne Vodka Lemonade is the perfect pick me up AND has quickly made it's way up to the top as an MVP of my summer cocktail list.

Made using 80-proof Fuzzy's Ultra Premium Vodka, this Lemonade cocktail is as smooth as it is sweet. Fuzzy's has been a staple vodka in my family for years because it's crafted from Midwestern corn and is 5 times distilled leaving it smooth, creamy and crisp. Born and raised in Indiana, it's the vodka I ALWAYS reach for in my cocktail concoctions. If you haven't yet tried it, you can see where it's available for purchase here.

I thought up this rosemary cayenne blend after trying a clean juice a few weeks back and realized it would be KILLER mixed with lemonade. It's the perfect blend of spicy, smooth and sweet. And, it takes under 5 minutes to put together! Here's how to make it:

Rosemary Cayenne Vodka Lemonade with Fuzzy's Vodka

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Water

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 1/12 cups Lemon Juice

  • Ice

  • Rosemary Sprigs (4) + Garnish

  • Fuzzy's Vodka

  • Cayenne Flakes

Directions

  • In a small saucepan add 1 cup of water, sugar and honey together. Bring to a simmer and let sit until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the rosemary sprigs and put into a pitcher. Refrigerate for 15-30 minutes.

  • Strain out the rosemary sprigs and add additional cold water. Also add in the lemon juice to taste. Stir well and add in additional sugar or lemon as needed.

  • Add ice into two glasses and add one jigger of Fuzzy's Vodka to each glass. Then top off each drink with the lemonade mixture.

  • Spring cayenne on top and stir well.

  • Finally, garnish with lemon and a rosemary sprig. Enjoy!

This drink is as delicious as it sounds! And, it blends perfectly with the Fuzzy's Vodka! If you make one make sure to tag me on social media at @kenziekittle!
