A Yellow Skirt For Fall

One of the first things I do when the temperature starts to change and the leaves begin to Fall is bring out the autumnal colors that hang in my closet, for so many months out of the year. Deep oranges, maple browns, vibrant yellows and rich reds start to become a daily part of my look. There's truly nothing that makes me feel the seasonal change like these gorgeous additions to my outfits. 

After months of pastels and whites, it feels so refreshing to shake things up and try a new color. That's why it's no surprise that I instantly fell in love with this yellow Loft skirt the moment I saw it. While i'm typically not a fan of corduroy, I loved the texture it brought to the marigold. And, i've gotten so many compliments on it the few times i've worn it so far.  

I tend to pair the skirt with neutral colors like black or grey. And, even added a vest I picked up last year (similar) to bring a little more texture to the look.
