15+ Spring Pieces to Freshen up Your Home

Our new home is coming along slowly but surely, and I can not wait until we can finally move in at the start of spring! I've gotten quite a few requests to share some of my favorite home decor items, but our apartment is in shambles as we prep for the move. I figured i'd spare you photos of the mess and instead put together a list of the items i'm purchasing for our new place.

So many of the pieces I've linked were purchased with spring and summer in mind, so hopefully adding them to your home will bring just a bit of sunshine to an otherwise gloomy winter.

A few things to note before we start: We're getting all of our furniture through my family's company, Kittle's Furniture. It's a company here in the Midwest and we've had a blast picking out our "big" items with the help of one of their designers. Stay tuned for a few room reveals in the summer. My favorite decor tends to come from West Elm, Pottery Barn, CB2 and Home Goods, so you'll find that a lot of my Spring Must-Haves are from those stores.

4 Best Home Decor Picks for Spring

Faceted Porcelain Vases

First things first, I love a good vase. I consider my weekends a chance to not only relax, but also pick out new flowers. So, it's no surprise that we dedicate an entire cabinet to vases in our apartment. I adore these Porcelain Vases from West Elm, and scooped them up immediately to compliment the blush & grey tones we'll be using in our new home.

Wooden Planters

If being a crazy cactus lady was a thing, it would undoubtedly be my thing. We have one too many succulents in our apartment, and I don't see that changing any time soon. I love welcoming spring with tons of new plants around the house, and these mid-century modern planters are the perfect home for them. Love the larger size too!

Colorful Pillows

A quick story about my marriage? J and I fight over pillows more than any other home decor style or item. I love them, he hates them. I can't win. But, I still buy them all the time. I think they're the easiest way to switch up the feeling of your home based on season. I adore this colorful print from Lulu and Georgia, and also this classic print from Pottery Barn

Art

I adore Minted and I adore West Elm, so when the collaborate I want to buy it all up. This Cuban inspired piece ads a fun pop of color for spring, and would have me dreaming of warmer weather in no time. I also love this beach print - who else is ready for Island Time?
