How To Add Edge To A Holiday Look With Verity

Hello, gorgeous! Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner and I just love celebrating the holiday season. I go crazy decorating our apartment, buying holiday outfits and baking tons of holiday treats. Not to mention, the clothes this time of year are my absolute favorite. Outfits that include tulle skirts, lace, sequins and vibrant colors are my jam. So, today i'm sharing how you can add a little edge to a classic holiday outfit!

Pick An Edgy Fabric

You can easily rev up any holiday look by adding an untraditional fabric. Think suede, lace or even a touch of leather. For this look, this maxi romper from Verity has the prettiest lace, which took my holiday look to the next level. 

Add Statement Accessories

The next step is to add some statement accessories, so that your look is pulled together. This season, i'm all about chokers. So, I added a simple suede choker to my edgy holiday look. I also added a cute clutch and a killer ring to tie all the black details together. 

Choose Bright, Bold Makeup

You can tie your look together by using bright, bold makeup. I added a touch of dark red to this edgy holiday look by adding my favorite SmashBox Matte Lipstick. You could also go a tad lighter with this color.
