Cozy Coffee Date
Happy Tuesday!
Sorry for the later than usual post ! I was out of town last week and it set me back on everything. I spent most of the weekend catching up on some much needed z's, and with another work trip scheduled next week, i've been slammed. But, hopefully you've been able to catch up on any posts you may have missed while I was away. If not, I suggest checking out these Blueberry Muffins and this post on how to protect your skin from cold weather.
This weekend was just the dose of comfy and cozy that I needed. Admittedly, I'm not a cold-weather girl, so when the temps jumped into the 40s this weekend J and I decided to spend a little bit of time outdoors. We wandered down to Main Street for an early morning coffee date on Sunday, giving me the perfect opportunity to pull out my cozy new pink pullover (I also love this one from J.Crew). It was the perfect opportunity to get a bit of fresh air and get off the couch for just a little while.
I've been leaning towards outfits like this one lately because it has been soo cold, that I can't even think about wearing something else. Everything else I have in my closet, isn't quite enough to tackle the weather. That's why i'm loving the new sherpa/shearling trend this season. It allows me to stay comfortable and warm, but also feel trendy. More often than not, you're forced to choose between the two, so I was thrilled that a cold weather trend like this one was finally catching on. I've linked a few of my favorite shearling/sherpa pieces below in the hopes that you'll find them as cozy as I do!
