Gin and Jam Cocktail

Playing with new cocktail recipes has become a hobby of mine over the past few years. What's funny is that I really don't consider myself that much of a cocktail connoisseur, but I adore coming up with tasty recipes and sipping on them every so often. J loves this little hobby of mine, and while he'd kill me for telling you all this, his favorite drinks always end up being "girly" drinks like this Gin and Jam Cocktail.  

While Gin and Jam may sound like a strange combination, I can assure you that you're about to fall in love with this tasty treat. It's a little bit sweet, but the gin and lemon certainly pack a punch. The secret to this cocktail is to invest in quality jam, instead of Smuckers. I chose a strawberry based jam, and loved the taste. Next, i'm going to test out a blackberry, which i'm sure will be absolutely delicious.
