I can't believe that we're just shy of having lived in our home for six months! Seriously...where has the time gone? When we first moved in our home bar was kind of blah. It had no backsplash and not a ton of color. But, we knew that there was a ton of potential. And. because it's seen from both entrances to our home, we wanted it to be just right.

The focal point of our bar is definitely our backsplash. We picked it out ourselves, measured it and fell in love with it even more the moment it was installed. We knew that we wanted to pull the marble from our bar countertop up the wall, and this backsplash accomplished that perfectly. The chevron pattern also helped give the backsplash a little pop, and I can't tell you how many compliments we've received in the month or so we've had it!

In terms of decor, we've had this llama painting for a year and half or so, and thought it added the perfect mid-century modern touch to the bar. I also added faux Monsterra leaves, because you guys i'm definitely a crazy plant lady. And, the perfect styled basket.

The final "touch" was showcasing our barware. I've been collecting glasses for years (literally). And, J has always made fun of me for it. But, now that we have a bar that requires more than four glasses, he's pretty pumped we have them. 😂 I've linked a few of the staples I love most down below!
