Snow Covered White Russian Cocktail
Who doesn't love a good Christmas cocktail? Now that we've passed Thanksgiving i'm in complete holiday mode. There's tinsel everywhere, 3 different mini trees in our house and i've got Christmas music playing day and night. Let's just say, it's the perfect environment to mix up some delicious Christmas cocktails in. And, I just had to start with this Snow Covered White Russian.
White Russians are one of my favorite cold weather drinks. They make me feel like i'm treating myself to something so decadent, which I so rarely do. Typically, a White Russian is made with lots and lots of heavy cream. But, I try and cut back on cream whenever I can so I swapped it out for a lighter, healthier option: coconut milk. Guys, it's SO good.
To make the drink look even more wintery than it already does, I topped it off with some coconut shreds. And, I just love how it looks like snow. There's no question, this Snow Covered White Russian is my new go-to drink for winter and i'm sure it will be yours too. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
