Hawaii: The Big Island

As you've surely seen on Instagram, we spent the past week on Hawaii's Big Island. From hiking to stunning scenic overlooks, visiting a volcano and spending the day on the most beautiful black sand beach it's safe to say we fell in love with Hawaii.  

 

While on the island, we stayed in the most beautiful home overlooking the ocean. It came with it's own plunge pool and at night there were hardly any lights around us so we spent a lot of time sitting outside, drinking rosé and watching the stars. 

The whole environment in Hawaii is very casual, so my go-to look was typically a long maxi dress, a messy bun and minimal makeup and I wouldn't have changed that for anything. It can be so freeing to dress with a bit of casual elegance. I also wore my adorable Catherine Malandrino Pom Pom Sandals nearly every day. Sadly, mine are sold out but I've linked up a few similar pairs for you. And, this pair is even under $35. 

 

I found this En Creme dress on the island for just $24, so I bought it instantly. We're planning a trip to the islands later this year, and I knew it would be the perfect dress to throw on there as well.
