A Summer Bedroom Makeover X Brooklinen
My bedroom wears many hats. In the fall, it’s home to jewel toned hues and cozy knits. In the winter, it’s adorned with fur throws and blankets, twinkly lights and holiday decorations. In the summer it’s a tropical, plant-filled oasis.
Needless to say, I'm not one for completing a space and leaving it as is. With each season, I slightly switch it up to keep me inspired and showcase my latest decor obsessions. This June, I focused on neutral hues with pops of green and pink so that my bedroom would feel just like summer.
We’ve had the same bedding for a year. And, while I loved it, I was ready to shake it up and bring in a little more color for summer. The problem? I LOVE bright white bedding, so I knew that if I was going to bring in color, it would have to be subtle. That’s when I found Brooklinen’s bedding.

On top of the bedding, we also upgraded our space with our new wallpaper and a few additional plant babies that I had been eyeing. I scored this large Fiddle Leaf Fig for $100 at Lowes in Indy and picked up the Snake Plant for $15 their too. I had promised J I wouldn’t purchase any more, but I couldn’t pass them up (hah!).
